I'm Kent Nielsen — a friend of Christ, husband, and father of six. I served a mission to Mongolia, studied American Studies at BYU graduating with university honors, and published my first book in 2016.

For thirty years I worked side by side with the words of Christ and the personal-development tradition — Hill, Allen, William George Jordan, Emerson. I marveled at the latter. So many good principles and embedded scriptures — but at the end of the day they reached for perfection and could never supply the converting power.

As a friend of Christ seeking to live by His words, to be one with Him, as He is with the Father — I have been given so much that my cup runneth over. There is peace that surpasses understanding, when you take up His yoke and plant an acorn seed, rather than a radish. And according to God's timetable, He has prepared a way for you to receive all that He has, when you come unto Christ with full purpose of heart, might, mind, and strength.
